What are short term loans?
Our short term loans are designed to help you with any unexpected bills or when you are in need of a quick cash boost. The loan is meant to be used for a short period of time and to see you through to your next payday, typically, no more than 31 days. Using short term loans as a way of borrowing over a longer period is not recommended.
Do you have a blog?
Yes. our blog can be found at www.cashgenieblog.co.uk. The blog allows you to keep up to date with all the brilliant things Cash Genie does.
How do I apply and how long will it take?
We have made applying as simple as possible. Follow the “apply now” steps, complete a short online application and a decision in principle can be 2 minutes away.
How much can I borrow?
As our loans are designed for a maximum of 31 days and to see you through to your next pay, you can apply for a loan from as little as £75.00 and as much as £750.00
Why is your APR so high?
An APR is an “Annual Percentage Rate” Our loans are designed for a period of 31 days (one twelfth of a year). APR’s are commonly used to compare similar products; however it may not be practical to use an APR to compare different products. i.e. A loan based over 24 months against a short term loan over 31 days.
How soon can I receive the money?
Funds can usually be made available the same day or, if you are not in such a rush, the funds can be electronically transfer by normal bank transfer. There will be a fee for same day or urgent payments. If you require funds to be available urgently, please make this clear for any charges to be explained.
Will I need to send any documents in?
Normally no. We are usually able to verify all information we need without the need for you to send in any documentation.
Will I be credit checked?
We do use credit reference agencies to verify information, however we do not ask for your credit score nor do we base a decision to lend to you based on your credit history alone with other companies.
If I have bad credit can I still get a loan?
Absolutely, we feel it makes more sense to build trust between ourselves in order to offer you further loans and an increased credit limit. However, we do believe in responsible lending and make lending decisions on a case by case basis (representative APR 2339%).
Who can apply for a loan with you?
Our criteria is that you are:
- 18 or Over
- In employment
- Are a U.K resident
- Have a bank account
- Have a debit card
What information do you require from me?
We will need you name, date of birth, address, telephone numbers, email address, income and employment details as well as your bank and debit card information.
Can I receive a loan if I am unemployed?
